At Colgrain we offer a high standard of care for our livery horses, treating each as an individual, feeding and caring for them accordingly. We value each and every horse in our care as if they were our own and our aim is to ensure we have happy horses and owners.
We turn out horses daily whenever possible and operate a worm control programme for all horses based on regular worm counts and appropriate worming when necessary.
James Spy, an equine dental technician, is resident at Colgrain and two farriers visit on a regular basis. In the owners absence we will bring horses in when required for any farrier or vet appointments. We are happy to undertake clipping, trimming and exercise for horses in our care.
Livery clients have use of both our arenas and jumps, horse walker, tack room, horse shower, solarium and trailer and lorry parking. They are also welcome to book lessons with our staff and have priority for spaces on any clinics we hold with visiting coaches.
